Overview
Nexans Canada provides solutions for copper electrode wire (soudronic wire) and copper wire for redraw.
Copper wire for redraw:
Nexans Montreal produces drawn copper wire between 7 and 16 AWG (3.67mm – 1.22mm) and wire that can be delivered hard or annealed. Nexans drawn wire meets standard ASTM B1-01 for hard drawn copper wire and ASTM B3-01 for annealed copper wire
Copper electrode wire (Soudronic):
Nexans is leader in North America for copper electrode wire, also called soudronic wire.
Packaging:
Drawn wire is packaged in cylindrical boxes (Diameter 122 cm, Height 125 cm). Net weight is between 2000 and 5000 lbs and these boxes are placed on wooden pallet. Pallet dimensions are 122 cm x 122 cm and the box is fixed by plastic straps.
