Nexans wins AMSC contract for Chicago’s Resilient Electric Grid project

Nexans has been awarded a new contract to produce a medium voltage HTS (high temperature superconductor) cable for the Resilient Electric Grid (REG) project in Chicago, U.S. The cable, together with a special jointing system, will be deployed in a Commonwealth Edison (ComEd) substation.
